A practice, online

İlknur Güvenlioğlu runs a nutrition and functional-feeding practice in Ovacık, Ankara. She needed more than a listing — a place where a nervous first-time client could get a feel for her approach, read what real clients say, and book a first meeting without friction.

I designed and built the site end to end: a soft, editorial look with a serif wordmark and muted sage-and-cream palette, all copy in Turkish, structured around the questions a new client actually asks — who are you, what do you offer, how does it work, can I trust you, how do I reach you.

Technically it stays deliberately simple: hand-written HTML, CSS and JavaScript. No framework, nothing to maintain, nothing slowing it down — it opens instantly on a phone in a waiting room, which is where most of its visitors will be.

What it does

A brand, not a template

A calm editorial identity built around cream tones, a serif wordmark and generous whitespace — designed from scratch to feel like the practice it represents.

Six service areas

Personal nutrition plans, online diet counselling, clinical, sports, child and pregnancy nutrition — each presented as a clear, scannable card.

“How I work” journey

A four-step approach section — meet, analyse, plan, follow up — that walks a first-time visitor through exactly what working together looks like.

Real Google reviews

A testimonials carousel fed by the practice's actual Google rating and reviews, doing the convincing no ad copy could.

Appointment requests

A contact section with a request form, preferred-day picker, one-tap WhatsApp line and an embedded map to the Ovacık office.

Fast and findable

Hand-written static HTML, CSS and JavaScript — no framework weight. Loads instantly and is tuned to rank for local nutrition searches.

Under the hood

  • Hand-written front end — semantic HTML, modern CSS and vanilla JavaScript. No framework, no build step to babysit, nothing between the visitor and the content.
  • Zero-maintenance hosting — a static site that deploys to any CDN in seconds, with nothing to patch, update or pay attention to.
  • Local SEO — structured for Ankara nutrition searches, tied into the practice's Google Business profile, reviews and map listing.
  • Turkish-first copy — every section written with the client for her actual audience, from service names to the appointment form.
